Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NomadGrid (the “Service”), operated by Ryo Takamatsu (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

  • NomadGrid offers a free tier and paid Pro plans (Monthly $10, Annual $84, Founding Lifetime $199). Prices are shown on /pricing and exclude taxes where applicable.
  • Paid plans auto-renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period.
  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

3. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not scrape, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service, or use it to violate any law.
  • The AI Nomad Advisor, tax/visa tools, and city data are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, tax, or immigration advice. Always verify with an official source before acting.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, excluding third-party data (e.g. Numbeo, Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap), is owned by Ryo Takamatsu and licensed, not sold, to you.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time; paid periods already charged are not refunded unless the Refund Policy applies.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance.
